The Challenge

Black Ox Bistro was generating ₦500,000 in daily sales but remained invisible in Ibadan's crowded dining market. They had excellent food and ambiance but lacked a clear customer strategy and data-driven marketing approach.

Our Approach

We started with deep customer research, building detailed buyer personas and mapping the entire customer journey. This revealed that Ibadan's diners weren't just seeking food, they wanted experiences worth sharing. We then built a complete marketing infrastructure including CRM setup, three conversion funnels (Breakfast, Date Night, Birthday), and multi-channel retargeting across Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, and SMS.

What Worked

The Lovers Campaign and Birthday Campaign became our highest performers, converting at 8.2% and 6.7% respectively. WhatsApp marketing emerged as our secret weapon with 78% open rates, far outperforming email. We quickly killed the underperforming Breakfast funnel and reallocated budget to winning channels.
